Fridge, washing machine and dish- washers are given rates such as A, A++, A+++. Depending upon the energy consumption in KWh, grades are provided. An appliance is said to be more efficient when it has fewer grades.
3) Energy saving trust: these labels are used for the ones that are most energy efficient. Tumble driers, washing machines, boilers, insulation glazers and hot water cylinders and more appliances have this logo. This type of logo is awarded to appliances in order to reduce carbon emissions.
