Brand History and Description –
K1, the automatic electric kettle which was first of its kind was made in October 1955 by using a bi-metallic strip that was placed at its rear end. The steam was forced out via an aperture present in the strip’s lid which knocked the switch and turned the kettle off. K2 kettle was later introduced in 1960. It was developed and manufactured for next 30 years and was known as the best product created by Russell Hobbs. In 1977, the experts at Russell Hobbs made their very first all-plastic kettle, the Futura. Nevertheless, it still had the normal kettle design and was somewhat distrusted by users.
