Brand History and Description –
KitchenAid owned by Whirlpool Corporation is a home appliance brand in America. Hobart Corporation launched this company in 1919 to manufacture stand mixers, and H-5 was their first model. With competitors joining in, the market became tougher for stand mixers. The company in the 1930s introduced a ‘K’ model designed by Egmont Arens.
Model K has changed little thereafter, and its attachments are compatible with latest mixers. In 1949, KitchenAid introduced dishwashers, their second product range. Much later in the 1980s, a promotional campaign following the efforts of retailer Williams – Sonoma, doubled brand awareness within three years.
